Hawaii is a top holiday hot spot and one of the many reasons that people visit this island each year is because of the fact that it is rich in culture and history. This history comes in many way shapes and forms, but can be experienced by taking one of the many Pearl Harbor tours. Pearl Harbor tours, offer holiday makers the chance to relive what happened back in the war years, and see just how it affected Hawaii as a whole.

What would I expect to get as part of a Pearl Harbor Tour?

·	Many tours will take you along to the visitor centre first, where you will be left alone to take in the history for around 2 hours. You will get to see all of the exhibits within the visitor centre as well as watch a documentary movie which centres around the goings on when the Japanese attacked back in 1941.
·	Some tours take you on a short ride on board a Navy boat and you can browse through models, photos, artefacts prior to boarding to prepare you for your visit aboard the vessel.
·	Many trips take you through the Punchbowl National Memorial Cemetery, which is in the middle of an extinct volcano also known as Puowaina Crater. This area is thought to be the site of many secret burials by the Ali’i.

What else is there to do in Hawaii?

Hawaii is made up of 6 different islands, all of which are rich in history and culture and have much to see and do. There are plenty of different tours which operate to and from each of the islands, one of the island’s – the Big Island, is made up of 5 different volcano’s and is still active to this day. There are plenty of tours which centre around this destination.

If sight seeing is not your thing, then you could always go snorkeling, to one of the many fantastic locations in and around Hawaii, where you can experience the different sort of fish that there are in the clear blue waters, which surround Hawaii. Helicopter rides are also on offer, these are great for if you are not a keen walker and you want to experience Hawaii from a different angle. These rides truly do offer panoramic views of the island and all it has to offer.

Where would I find out more information about Hawaii?

The internet is a fantastic source of information, and offers you all you need to know about what it actually on offer in Hawaii. Simply put a the Hawaii into a search engine and you will find there is a whole host of information out there for you to look at.

However, if you are wanting a destination which is a little closer to home, then why not visit Ireland. Like Hawaii, Ireland is also rich in culture and diversity and well worth looking at as a travel destination.

Coffee is a drink which is loved and drunk by many from all over the world. There are many types of different coffee which can be bought from the shops nowadays. Coffee houses have popped up all over the place in England over the past 10 years, and all of them have been able to offer a variety of different coffees, as well as the usual instant coffee
coffee’s such as cappucinno and expresso are just two of the varieties of coffee and coffee beans which can be found. An Irish coffee however, is made differently to other coffee’s and wont usually be found in a general coffee house, as it contains alcohol in it, whiskey to be precise. A good Irish coffee is made using the following ingredients one capful of strong, hot black coffee, one teaspoon of sugar, one measure of whiskey and last but not least a small carton of double cream. Pour the coffee into a small wine glass, using just enough coffee to half fill the glass. Then add in the sugar until it dissolves and stir in the whiskey. The next step is to slowly pour the double cream over the back of a teaspoon, the cream will float on the top of the coffee, to make the perfect drink. There are many variations of Irish coffee and whiskey is not always used in these drinks, but whiskey is the traditional way of making one of these fine coffee’s. Try experimenting with your Irish coffee, Bailey’s is a great tipple to add to one of these fine coffee’s. The better the coffee bean which is used in the coffee the better it will taste. Irish coffee is a great way to finish off a dinner party, it will impress your guests and always goes down a treat, even if you are not a coffee drinker, an Irish coffee has a unique taste to it. A wine fridge (Weinkühlschrank) is also well worth considering as it can be used to keep the ingredients at the right temperature while you prepare the drinks. Ireland is famed for its love of good food and drink and there are many sites on the internet which offer an insight into Ireland and its culture.

Ireland is a beautiful country which is also known as the Emerald Isle, it is considered to be full of green and pleasant land. Much like Britain Ireland has frequent rain fall and this is one of the reasons why Ireland can boast to having such lush green pastures. There are lots of places in which to visit in Ireland. Dublin is the capitol of southern Ireland and is full of diversity, there is plenty for everyone to see and do in Dublin whether a family, singleton or couple. Dublin also is a very popular destination with the hen and stags alike, and it is a very romantic location for people to wed and also propose. Other attractions in Ireland include, Killarney and the ring of Kerry, located in southwestern Ireland and situated in County Kerry, this is a location which is not to be missed when visiting Ireland. The destination itself is full of rivers, lakes, green pastures and colourful skies. The people are very friendly here and there are many attractive villages and towns within this area.

The cliffs of Moher and situated in Western Ireland, once at the top of these cliffs it really takes a minute for the beauty of the Atlantic Ocean which can be viewed quite clearly. There are lots of other sights to appreciate whilst in Ireland, these include Sligo Town, The Burren, Bru na Boinne, Northern Ireland, Belfast and Glenalough to name but a few places. A good way in which to appreciate Ireland is to lease Mercedes cars, as there are many used Mercedes cars and leasing dealerships around Ireland and places involved in Chiptuning Mercedes engines.

Ireland is a very popular location for golfers. There are many golfing venues in Ireland which often attract the big names in golf as well as certain tournaments. Ireland is also renowned for its love affair with Guinness, no St. Patrick’s night would be complete without this fine drink.

There has been much written in the newspapers about Ireland, and a lot of bad press on the television given about this country. Since as far back as many can remember there has been conflict in Northern Ireland, between the protestants and the Catholics. This was a subject which seemed to be on every news channel for much of the 1980’s and through into the 1990’s, with many IRA bombs killing often innocent people. This conflict was thankfully brought to end and since the 1998 Good Friday Agreement people have lived in peace in Northern Ireland.

Shankhill Road was the scene of most of the battles which were seen on the television, and for people who lived in the houses on this estate, life was a war zone. The conflict itself claimed around 3000 lives, but these people are remembered by memorials which are dotted around the area.

Peace has been present for over 10 years now and Ireland has managed to regain its reputation, and show tourists and visitors what this country is really about. There is much to see in Ireland, not only is the land green, but Dublin opens its gates to tourists of all ages and has something to offer both families, couples, singletons, as well as being a good place to host a hen or stag party. The bars are fully stocked with Guinness and there is an array of bars from the modern to the traditional Irish bar. Much like Ireland Spessart in Germany has lots of greenery and has a certain air of tradition about it. There is plenty to see and do. Spessart is a good place to relax, unwind and take in the landscape which surrounds you. There are many Hotels Spessart to choose from, and a good place to look for the perfect accommodation is on the internet, where you can also find information about Conferences Hesseb (Tagungen Hessen) for use on business. Many of the hotels on the internet have the option of articles in different languages, to help any potential tourists make the right choice of accommodation. Good accommodation choices can be found at the wellness hotel Allgäu (http://www.hotel-sonnenbichl.com) .

Ireland, more popularly known as the Emerald Isle, has a lot to offer to travelers of all kinds. Situated on the western portion of mainland Europe, Ireland has a total land mass of over 32,000 square miles and is surrounded by the Atlantic Ocean and the Irish Sea. It is a country which is not only known for its beautiful landscapes and other works of nature, but also for its rich culture and history. Many tourists even prefer travelling to Ireland annually just to experience the warmth and hospitality of the people.

Although Ireland has experienced some conflicts in its economic development in the 20th century, with the peace process and the tax breaks and several other incentives that attracted multinational companies, it remains an economically stable country, showing significant economic progress, which is partially due to the rise in tourism during the past couple of years.

If you are planning to visit Ireland, here are a couple of reasons which might want to make you pack your bags even quicker.

1. Ireland offers clean and fresh air. The climate also does not get uncomfortably warm. During the summer months, the temperature usually averages around 22°C. The best way to take in all the fresh air while enjoying the breathtaking views and sceneries would be to explore the rural areas such as West Cork and Kerry, North West Clare and the Connemara region of Galway.

2. Irish people are very hospitable. It has been said that you must never forget to bring a along a smile when going to Ireland as it would be returned at least a hundred times to you. Irish people are very warm and friendly and would always be there to help you with anything you need, particularly in giving you directions.

3. Traveling to Ireland is relatively cheaper compared to going to other countries. Today, going to Ireland is no longer that expensive. You now have a lot of options on how to get there whether by sea or air carriers. You could just search online for those airline companies who are offering competitive rates and packages.

4. Ireland offers unique and delicious food and drinks. They offer delectable traditional Irish dishes such as Irish stew, coddle, bacon and cabbage, crubeens, goody, barmbrack, boxty and ulster fry, among many others. One of the more popular Irish drinks would be Irish coffee, which is a cocktail made of hot coffee, sugar and Irish whiskey, topped with thick cream. Other famous drinks would include the Guinness and the black and tan. Tourists also have the option of dining in the many great restaurants in Ireland that serve cuisine from all over the world.

5. Ireland has a lot of exciting and lively festivals. They say that the Irish has a way of enjoying parties better than everyone else. One of the popular festivals in Ireland would be St. Patrick’s Day, which commemorates the patron saint if the country. There are also several other summer festivals which many locals and tourists look forward to such as the Puck Fair Killorglin. Food festivals are also common in Ireland. An example would be the Galway International Oyster Festival and the Gourmet Food Festival.

6. Ireland has a lot of breathtaking landscapes and sceneries. Some of the top sights and attractions in Ireland would include: the Brú na Boinne, which are Neolithic burial sites; the Burren; the Hill of Tara, which is the ancient seat Ireland’s High Kings; Trinity College, the alma mater of Bram Stoker, Oscar Wilde and Samuel Beckett; Chester Beatty Library, which has some of the oldest existing biblical fragments; the Guinness Storehouse, which is part of the world-famous brewery and is one of the most visited attractions in Dublin; Kilmainham Gaol; the Lakes of Killarney and the Ring of Kerry; Cliffs of Moher; the Bunratty Castle and Folk Park; and the Giant’s Causeway . With all these and more attractions, you would never be left with nothing to do in Ireland.

7. Ireland offers a lot of sports and leisure activities. This would include golf, horse riding, mountain climbing and football.

8. Ireland has a very rich culture. The Irish have a strong passion for music and dancing, which can be experienced by visiting any of their original Irish pubs.

9. Lastly, Ireland has all the modern cities which have the stylish shopping malls, chic nightclubs, excellent restaurants and tourist attractions. These cities would include Dublin, Cork, Belfast, Limerick and Galway.

However, before packing your bags for Ireland, make sure that you have done your share of browsing over the great eyewear selections available at www.edel-optics.com. They offer a lot of options for low-cost sunglasses as well as designer sunglasses. Start your shopping for great eyewear today and head on over to the Emerald Isle for an unforgettable holiday.

Did you know that if your Motortuning company were to visit Ireland on a business trip that they would have a lot of different experiences to choose from? This is because the country is full with lush greenery and spectacular sites that can be enjoyed even if you are only in the area for business. This can be true for a company that tunes regular cars, as well as those that work exclusively in Porsche Tuning. It doesn’t matter what the nature of the motortuning company may be, if you are in Ireland on business you will be able to enjoy yourself while at the same time getting all of your work done. After all, there is no rule that says you have to be completely focused on business.

One of the things that should not be overlooked or forgotten when you are in the beautiful land of the Emerald Isle is the wonderful food and drink. Ireland is the home of Guinness, which is a treat that should not be missed. Its thick, hearty taste is something that many beer connoisseurs find intriguing, and it is only truly enjoyed with a thick foamy head at the top of the glass. Just imagine if their beer is that good how tasty a bowl of Irish stew would be? The stew is a tradition in Ireland, and it is traditionally made with either mutton or lamb. However, the exact ingredients of Irish stew vary from region to region depending on the most available vegetables in the area might be, so if you ate the stew at a different restaurant every night you could very well get a different version each time.

Lastly, if you are on a business holiday in Ireland, you will want to be sure to visit their spectacular landscapes so that you can take in the spectacular beauty of the region. The land is one that has inspired poets and writers for years with its beauty, so you will want to make sure that you are able to take in as many of these landscapes as you possibly can so that you too can feel immersed in the Emerald Isle. Even if you do nothing more than take a leisurely drive through the countryside in your Porsche, it is still well worth the experience.

Green hills, shamrocks and leprechauns usually represent the Emerald Isle or Ireland. Ireland is a beautiful country that offers a lot of breathtaking sights, cities and landscapes as well as a culture that is one of the richest and most interesting in the whole world. Ireland is also home to the warm and friendly Irish people. A good plus if you are visiting Ireland would be if you know how to speak in German as many Irish nationals take up German language course (Sprachkurs Deutsch) in a German language school at one point in their life. If you are planning to visit Ireland, here are is a good list of places to see and things to do.

The Dublin Castle serves as original location where the Vikings stayed back in the 13th century. Over the years, it was used for a variety of purposes such as a military fortress, a prison, a court of law and a treasury. Presently, it is used for presidential inaugurations and state receptions.

You can have guided tours at the historical Kilmainham Gaol, which is a big but unoccupied prison. It is where many of the rebellions of Ireland were imprisoned. There were also fourteen members of the group Easter Rising who were executed here in 1916.

Another great and interesting place to go to would be the National Museum located on Kildare Street. It was originally opened back in 1980 and houses an extensive collection of Medieval and Celtic artifacts and some works of art. Artists and art lovers would surely enjoy going through their displays which show pieces from prehistoric Ireland and from other historic times.

You can also pass by the Guinness Storehouse which was opened back in 1759 by Arthur Guinness. Today, it is considered as one of the most popular tourist attractions in Ireland. It shows tourists the process of brewing, as Ireland is well-known for producing and exporting beer. There are many Irish people here that know how to speak German so if you took up some language courses in German, you would have an easier time communicating with them.

Another historic sport would be St. Patrick’s Cathedral, which is located on a land where a wooden church was built back in the 5th century. In 1213, the building which is now the St. Patrick’s Cathedral was built. It is named after Ireland’s patron saint. There is a well on the church grounds which was said to be the location where St. Patrick baptized his first converts into Christianity.

Another cathedral, the Christchurch Cathedral is another sight to see. Located near St. Patrick’s Cathedral, it is the main cathedral for Protestants in Ireland. It was founded back in 1038 and has been renovated a couple of times since, but there are some walls which date back to the 1100s. Tourists usually go there for the multimedia presentation which is shown beside the cathedral. It celebrates the medieval heritage of Dublin: Dublinia. It shows reconstructed archaeological digs as well as interactive displays, providing tourists and visitors the information on the challenges that Dublin faced during that era.

You can also go to Trinity College, which is Ireland’s oldest university, providing quality education to students since 1592. Tourists usually go there to see the Book of Kells, which is a manuscript containing Latin text of the Bible’s four gospels and has been beautifully decorated in the year 800 by Irish monks.

Lastly, you can bring your family or friends over to O’Connell Street or Phoenix Park as you travel to Ireland. There, you would be able to enjoy observing the wildlife. There are also a lot of shopping areas to let you do your share of shopping. In Phoenix Park, you would also be able to see the 17th Century Ashton Castle which serves as the center visitors.

If these tourist spots are not enough, you can always go to Ireland to meet its wonderful, warm and accommodating people. Irish nationals are generally known for their friendliness and hospitality. It would also be good if you can communicate with them in a bit of Irish, as you would be able to know what it is like to talk with an Irish national. However, many Irish nationals do communicate in a number of languages such as German, as most of them choose to study a couple of German language course in good German language school (Sprachschule deutsch) .

The Irish are well known for their love of Guinness and the ability to throw an excellent knees up. St Patrick’s night in England is celebrated in pubs and bars across the country, and Irish celebration which is possibly celebrated more than the English equivalent St. Georges day. Ireland is a green and pleasant land and each year thousands of tourists flock through its doors, taking in its breathtaking views which is something that for many years people did not associate with Ireland.

During the 1980’s Northern Ireland seemed to be on the news headlines on a daily basis, due to the ongoing conflict in Northern Ireland between the Catholics and the Protestants. Areas of Belfast quickly became a no go zone, Shankill Road became one of the main streets where the conflict was ongoing. To this day there are still the murals on the end of the houses on Shankill Road, which are a constant reminder back to the days of the conflict. It was on the west side of Belfast where all the troubles were taking place.

Fortunately Ireland has moved on since this time, and this is thanks to the Good Friday Agreement which took place in 1998, there have been no troubles since this agreement. The conflict was over on this date and it was time to remember the 3000 people who lost their lives during this time in Ireland. Throughout this conflict there were and still are places throughout Ireland which are known for their beauty. Dublin is the other major city in Ireland, which has a great deal to offer as a tourist and visitor location. Dublin has something on offer for the whole family, but is also very appealing if you are single or out for a good night. Dublin is very popular with hen and stag parties, and there are plenty of pubs and clubs offering a variety of different music and themes. Some of the pubs are traditionally Irish, playing Irish music and selling pints of Guinness. Dublin can boast as being able to take its place as one of the oldest cities in Europe, and is visited by thousands each year, who enjoy the heritage and history.

Ireland is also famed for its love of cooking with cooking recipes (Kochrezepte) such as Irish Stew and Dublin Coddle being popular with both locals and visitors. Irish Stew is a meat recipies (Fleischrezepte) which is broken down as follows; 4 lamb chops, 4 medium potatoes, 4 medium carrots, 4 medium onions, ¼ teaspoon of dried thyme, sprig of fresh time, 450mls of lamb stock, parsley and Worcestershire Sauce, pearl barley, butter and salt and pepper. The traditional food in Ireland is well worth trying and there are plenty of eateries in and around Ireland which dish up traditional food on a daily basis.

Christmas is the one time of the year that most families like to celebrate together. With so many people working and living away from home nowadays, Christmas is a very special time for families and friends to enjoy the many Christmas festivities. From September onwards most shops start to sell Christmas Cards, decorations, lights and artificial Christmas trees. Although this might seem very early to start thinking about Christmas, some people prefer to start their Christmas shopping early to avoid the rush. Children look forward to Father Christmas bringing the toys on Christmas Eve and in all the excitement, the true meaning of Christmas is sometimes forgotten. Children often take part in nativity plays at school and learn about how Mary and Joseph travelled to Bethlehem but could find no room at the inn to stay for the night. They slept in a stable with the animals and it was here that Baby Jesus was born. The three Kings who brought presents for the baby followed a bright Star shining in the East which led them to the stable. Shepherds watching their sheep were told by an Angel where to find the Baby Jesus and they also brought presents. The giving and receiving of presents at Christmas is a reminder of the very first Christmas when Christ was born.

Christmas is celebrated all over the world and different countries will have their own tradition. In Ireland the southern part of the country are mostly Catholics who pray to the Virgin Mary rather than Jesus and anyone sending a christmas card (Weihnachtskarte) to family or friends will probably pick one that shows a picture of the Virgin Mary on it. Irish Christmas cards are usually more religious than in England and most of the Christmas cards will show the Virgin Mary holding Baby Jesus. The majority of people in the northern part of the country are Protestants who are called Orange men as they were converted by the Prince of Orange. Whether the people are Irish Catholics or Irish Protestants their celebration at Christmas will be the same with lots of food and drink. The Churches will be full as Christmas is still regarded as a very religious time in Ireland.
